 BANOFFEE PUDDING

 


Ingredients :

For toffee sauce:

 Condensed milk - 400gm (1 tin)

 Fresh cream - 1/2 cup

For Biscuit layer:

 Digestive biscuits

 Melted butter- 2 TBsp

For Banana cream layer:

 Whipped cream - 1 cup

 Mashed bananas- 2

For Decoration:

 Banana - 1 sliced

 Grated chocolate

 

Instructions : 

TOFFEE SAUCE:

1. To Pressure cook the condensed milk:

2. Ensure that the can is immersed completely in water throughout while cooking. Put on high flame till one whistle. After that, put in simmer and cook for 20 minutes more.

3. Open the can only when completely cooled.

4. Transfer the toffee into a bowl.

5. Add fresh cream and mix thoroughly to a smooth consistency.


BISCUIT LAYER:

1. Crush the biscuit to fine powder.

2. Add melted butter and mix evenly.

3. Layer the biscuit mix in the pudding tray and refrigerate for 15 minutes.


BANANA CREAM MIX:

1. Whip the cream to soft peaks.

2. Add mashed bananas, 2 spoons of toffee sauce and mix thoroughly.


LAYER THE PUDDING:

1. Onto the biscuit layer, spread the toffee sauce.

2. Arrange sliced bananas evenly over the sauce.

3. Add the banana cream mix over it and spread evenly.

4. Top with grated chocolate and biscuit powder.

5. Refrigerate the pudding for at least 3 hours.

6. Serve chilled.
