KETHEL CHICKEN

Ingredients :

 Chicken - 3/4 kg

 Fennel seeds (Moti saumph) - 1 tbsp

 Powdered fennel seeds - 1 tsp

 Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

 Green chilly - 2-3

 Garlic - 8 cloves

 Dried red chilly crushed - 100 gram

 Cornflour - 1 tsp

 Coconut oil - 1 tbsp for marination, as required for frying

 Salt - to taste

  

Instructions :

1. Crush fennel seeds, garlic and green chillies coarsely.

2. For marination: add the crushed garlic, chilly,fennel seeds to the chicken. Then add turmeric powder, fennel seed powder, crushed red chillies, coconut oil and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.

3. Add cornflour and marinate the chicken thoroughly for at least five minutes. Cover the masala evenly over the chicken pieces.

4. Cover the marinated chicken bowl and keep it aside for minimum one hour.

5. On a hot frying pan, add ample coconut oil for deep frying. Fry the marinated chicken pieces in low and medium. Flip occasionally.

6. Kethel chicken is ready. Serve hot !!!
