             INSTANT TOMATO DOSA

Ingredients :

üTomato - 1

üWheat flour - 2 tbsp

üRice flour - 1/4 cup

üRava/ sooji - 1/4 cup

üOnion - 1, chopped

üCoriander leaves - chopped

üGinger - 1/2 inch, chopped

üPepper powder - 1/2 tsp

üRed chilly powder - 1/2 tsp

üCumin seeds - 1/4 tsp

üWater - 2 cups

üGhee - as required

üSalt - to taste

 

Instructions :

1. Blend the tomato, ginger and red chilly powder to a smooth paste.

2. In a bowl, add rice flour,wheat flour, rava, pepper powder, cumin seeds and the blended tomato mixture and mix well.

3. Add 1 cup of water. Mix well.

4. Keep it aside for 15-20 minutes

5. Then add the coriander leaves, chopped onion, salt and 1 cup of water.

6. In a hot tawa, brush some ghee.

7. Before pouring the batter always stir well.

8. Keep the flame in medium and pour in the thin batter.  

9. Allow it to cook on medium until I turns crispy. Sprinkle some ghee on top.

10. Instant tomato dosa is ready. Serve hot!!!
