TIGER PRAWNS MASALA

Ingredients :

 Tiger prawns - 200 gram

 Red chilly powder - 1 1/2 tsp

 Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

 Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp

 Cumin seed powder 1/4 tsp

 Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp

 Onion - 1, chopped

 Tomato - 1, diced

 Ginger paste - 1 tsp

 Green chilly - 2, sliced

 Curry leaves - as required

 Coconut milk- 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp

 Coconut oil - 1 tbsp


 

Instructions :

1. Clean and de-vein the prawns.

2. In a hot kadai, add coconut oil. When hot, add chopped onion. In a medium heat, stir until the onion becomes translucent.

3. Add ginger paste and sliced green chillies. Saute well.

4. Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder. Saute well.

5. Add diced tomatoes. Stir thoroughly until it become soft.

6. Add salt to taste.

7. Add the cleaned prawns. Stir well

8. When the prawns are half cooked, add coconut milk.

9. Cover with a lid. Cook for few more minutes.

10. When done, sprinkle garam masala powder and chopped curry leaves.

 

SERVE HOT !!!!
