CHICKEN PAN PIZZA

 


Ingredients :

For dough:

 Maida - 2 cups

 Dry yeast -2 1/2 tsp

 Salt -2 tsp

 Water - 1.5 cup (as required)

 

For pizza topping:

 Chicken (Boneless cubes) - 1 cup

 Red chilly powder - 1 tsp

 Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

 Vinegar- 1/2 tsp

 Oregano

 Salt - to taste

 

 Pizza sauce

 Mozzarella cheese

 Bell peppers - red and yellow

 Olives

 Oregano

 Crushed chillies

 Olive oil

 

 

Instructions :

1. Combine warm water with yeast. It should start to froth up after a few minutes.

2. Combine Maida, salt and the yeast mix. Knead well.   Add required water to make it into a soft dough.

3. Turn the dough over to coat the outside of the dough in the oil.

4. Cover the dough with a plastic wrap and keep it aside for an hour. Dough should rise and fill the bowl.

5. Divide dough into 2 pieces. Take one portion to make one pizza.

6. Brush oil in a pan.

7. Place 1 ball of dough in the pan and turn to coat evenly with oil. Using a flat palm, press dough around the pan, flattening it slightly and spreading oil around the entire pan to make a thin crust.

8. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and let dough sit.

 

Meanwhile make cook the chicken:

9. Marinate the chicken cubes with chilli powder, turmeric, salt and vinegar.

10. In a pan add oil and saute the chicken until cooked.

11. Add oregano and other herbs of choice and mix well.

 

Top the pizza:

12. Use a fork to prick holes on the spread dough.   

13. Then top the pizza dough with pizza sauce, spreading sauce to the very edge with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese, bell peppers and cooked chicken pieces. Season with salt. Add other toppings as desired. Drizzle with olive oil over the top, if desired.

14. Cook the pizza and low flame until the dough and the veggies are cooked.

15. Chicken Pan pizza is ready. Serve hot !!!
