PRAWNS VADA

10 Mins Snack 8 medium size vadas
Ingredients :
Minced prawns - 150 grams
Shallots - one handful
Ginger - chopped, 1 tsp
Curry leaves - chopped, few
Green chilly - chopped, 2
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Coconut oil - for deep frying
Instructions :
1. In a bowl, Mix together shallots, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and salt . keep aside for 5 minutes to make the mixture soft.
2. To the mixture, Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, Garam masala, corn flour and pepper powder. Mix well.
3. Add minced prawns. Mix well.
4. Shape the mixture to flat rounds with half inch thickness.
3. In a hot pan, add oil. When hot, slide the portions slowly into the oil. Flip occasionally. Fry until brown, at a low or medium heat.
4. Prawn vadas are ready. Serve hot !!!
